COVID-19 vs Russia No terror!

The country is divided into 2 parties. One group of people are afraid of COVID-19, or they just think about their elderly relatives and they are sitting at home, isolated. The others seem not to be afraid of anything. They call themselves COVID-19 dissidents, to sound like soviet time dissidents, they ar
e more worried about the job which they might loose due to COVID-19 than about COVID-19 itself. We are isolated starting from the end of March. We go shopping in the night – to meet less people. As usually almost all the supermarkets in Saint-Petersburg are open 24 hours.
We try to go to supermarket twice a month, but it happened so that we forgot to buy smth or were out of smth important earlier than it was scheduled, that is why we go shopping 3 times per month.
They said that in Europe they had shortage in the shops. It is funny that this time we don't have shortage in our supermarkets. They sometimes were out of certain things, like one day there was no tobasco sause and there was no minced meat. But any ot

We know that some people in America got ill without even getting out of their homes. They are sitting at home, ordering food, no ready to eat things but the people got infected. How it comes? I have an idea that sitting at home and getting the food they got relaxed. We take it for granted that the people who are packing everything are wearing the gloves and mask and so on. But nobody knows what kind of protection the people collecting the orders have and if they are ill or not. The people who are collecting the things - they are not sitting at home, they go to work, they meet the other people. And the more you move and communicate the less you are afraid of the other people and the possibility of being infected. They are losing their caution.
I’m sitting at home – any time I get out I feel like a stranger being afraid to touch anything. In the beginning of April, I had to go to bank, to the exchange office. This is one of the most dangerous places – they are getting cash from all other the world. The cashier was sitting there with her mask hanging on the ear, no gloves and no fear in the eyes. I see that the ordinary mask doesn’t help. But she had less fear sitting there in the cabin of the bank all the day through than me, who came just for a couple of minutes.
A lot of people have to work even during the isolation, like exchange offices, supermarkets, Tabaco shops, post-offices, a lot of factories, public transport, police, doctors and a lot of couriers, volunteers, people cleaning the streets, taxi drivers, who else, I can not even stop etc. All these people are in the streets to get to the place.
They are the people who meet a lot of other people in the underground and they won't be the same careful. If you have to get to your woking place during 1 hour, and the majority of people in Saint-Petersburg live in 1 hour from the working place. We even have a joke - you live in Saint-Petersburg if you take you 1 hour to get from any point to any other point. So it is difficult to be really careful for 2 hours per day.
It seems that the city is divided into two parts. People who are sitting at home and very careful and the people who have to go to work, they are gettting used to this, being in the street, communicating with the other people and they don't care about COVID-19 so much.
Sometimes it is not up to us to decide where to be. We either have to stay at home, especially if we have some elderly people at home or we have to go to work, especially if we are doctors.
